G3 is Asbury’s current Stewardship Campaign, launched in spring 2006.  It was an exciting time that inspired a renewed commitment to the work of transforming lives through the love and power of Jesus Christ!

As a result of the campaign, $1.55 million dollars was committed over a three year period.  This amount is a phenomenal commitment for a congregation the size of Asbury and clearly demonstrated God’s goodness.

The near tern focus is to reduce Asbury’s outstanding building debt and we have made huge strides in that regard.

The original cost of Asbury’s last building expansion was nearly $2 million dollars.  A total of $1,750,000 was borrowed on a 25 year note.  Asbury has significantly paid ahead of the loan and as of June 30, 2008, our remaining mortgage is $385.679.28.

Average G3 giving has been $17,000 per month.  If Asbury continues to give at the current rate, our building loan will be paid off well before the terms of the note!
