Asbury Church, a growing, progressive, exciting and unique spirit-filled multi-site church, with four campus sites located in Wichita, KS, is seeking one part-time Coordinator of Children’s Ministry for its Central campus location.

The Children’s Coordiantor will coordinate the children’s ministries (nursery, preschool, and elementary; i.e. birth to fifth (5th) grade) at Asbury Church Central Campus. He or she will be responsible for the development and effective promotion of Christ-centered ministry programming as it relates to the overall mission statement and core values of Asbury Church, to include Sunday programming, Wednesday Kids Church, oversight of Vacation Bible School and other special events, camps and programming needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person who thinks progressively, loves children and wants to assist in reaching families and to disciple children, as well as equip and inspire teachers and parents. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to recruit volunteers are a must. Formal training and experience in children’s programming is preferred.

The Children’s Coordinator will work in cooperation with the Children’s Director who will provide general oversight and supervision to ensure that the children’s ministry goals and objectives meet the overall Mission and Core Values of Asbury Church, as well as meet the needs of the children and their spiritual growth.
