Hey Everyone

Tomorrow, Tuesday February 2^nd (Groundhog Day), the staff of Asbury is going to fast from our lunch to prepare ourselves for what God wants to do in 2010. Feel free to participate with us.

Notes about Fasting

-          We are fasting from our lunch meal on Tuesday, please feel free to drink liquids

-          We are fasting to humble ourselves before God, not to exalt ourselves among others (see Matthew 6:16)

-          Fasting does not earn us anything (we are grace people), but the discipline of fasting helps us see how we need God’s help
