Wow, what a long 8 weeks we just finished up!  It has been amazing to see all that was accomplished. Here are just a few of those things:

1)  The clinic is just about finished.  We just have the 2 inpatient
ward walls and the patient waiting room to be mudded.  It is one fine looking clinic and we have people walking from several hours to several days away to be helped by us.

2)  The church leaders' discipleship class is going well and James Koang will continue with that while we are gone.

3)  Beginning English classes are running 2 days a week.  James Koang and our "son", Peter, will also continue teaching those.

4)  The Resource Center is open for business.  We hired a manager who is a fine young man and the leader of the Buldit church. It is so nice to see so many of our staff in there using the books and learning how to use the computers.  We hope to supply it with more books and computers in the future.

5)  Two more staff tukuls and a national staff latrine finshed in our compound. The dormitories now have cement floors, as well as 2 staff tukuls.  Rob will continue cementing the floors of the remaining 3 staff tukuls and continue with the other construction needs here until the end of July.

6)  A chicken coop has been built in our compound for all of our chickens (which were making a real mess everywhere before this!).  Now we are getting fresh eggs and hope to get more baby chicks as well.

7)  Bubba and Rob constructed an oven which works great!  We love the fresh bread, bisquits and stews that come out of that thing!

8)  Bubba has been busy spearheading our Hygiene and Sanitation project here. Eight communal latrines have been completed and 8 more are in the process of being constructed.  We have over 50 latrines completed in Dajo now! This is really an accomplishment for bush dwellers.

9)  We finally got the community to work together to clean the airstrip. It was quite a task, but it looks good now.

10) The Gospel is going out into the outer regions here--many thanks to James Koang who has been so faithful to trek out to the villages and gather people together to share about the One True God. About 99% of the people he has shared with so far have never heard about Jesus. Many have requested for Bible classes. One lady in a village 3 hours away said, "This is good!  I'm so tired of all these other gods and satan causing me problems!"

Your prayers do make a difference!  Thank you so much for being a part of our team.  We leave on July 9th for the Philippines and return the end of September. We will still be able to receive your emails while there.  Please pray the Lord would refresh us and use us for His glory even there.

Love in Christ,

Cathy and Bubba
