2009 Sudan/Kenya Mission Trip
  
DAJO, SUDAN TRIP OPPORTUNITIES
During this trip, participants will be teaching pastors and church leaders as well as the members of the local church congregation about the bible.
Opportunities are also available for individuals to work with children and teach adults about children’s ministry as well as opportunities in worship and teaching local church leaders about worship.
Evangelistic work and preaching will also take place in villages within walking distance from the mission base camp.
Individuals that would like to take part in this mission trip, but do not want to go into Dajo, Sudan can minister in Kenya.
Taking place at the same time – traveling with the Sudan missionaries, the Kenya team will have a unique opportunity to minister in Kenya.
Complete details for the Kenya trip are still in the planning stages and will be shared in the near future.
Estimated Cost of the trip $3,500 -$4,000 per person. A deposit of $500 is due by November 1, 2008.
Three informational meetings will be held regarding this trip. They will take place on Sunday August 31st @ 6:00pm; Wednesday September 17th @ 6:30pm and Sunday October 19th @ 6:00pm at the Central Campus of Asbury Church.

MEDICAL MINISTRY, INTERNATIONAL MISSION TRIP 2009
January 24th – February 7th
Medical Ministry, International is sponsoring a surgical mission trip to the Dominican Republic. They will be staying in Monte Plata, DR and working at the hospital there. You do not have to have medical experience to go on the trip, as non-medical helpers are also needed. The team will split into two teams and one group will serve at the hospital, the other will go on a bus into the countryside and serve at clinics in the small villages. Children’s workers, Spanish translators, and medical personnel are also needed. Contact Dr. JP or Sherri Smith at 304-6555.
URUGUAY WORSHIP MISSION TRIP 2009
October 8th – 18th
The team already consists of Matt Lowry, Ryan Wallace, Garret Crow, Josh Orbaugh, and Gordon McClure. Missionaries will be teaching on Worship during the week at the Bible College in Montevideo, Uruguay and will also be hosting a Sunday Service at a local Church and doing a Worship Conference at the Bible College for Students and Pastors culminating with a Worship Concert the night before we leave.
