Preschool logoWelcome to Asbury Preschool! Asbury preschool is fully licensed by the state of Kansas as a preschool and child development center.   Our Goal at Asbury is to provide a Christian school readiness program for children ages 3-5 that will prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. If you are looking for a high quality preschool or full day program for your child look no further!

Asbury Preschool provides a warm Christian environment that will allow each child to develop as a unique individual.  We provide a safe, secure, and loving environment where children can develop academically, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

Asbury Preschool uses a variety of resources to enhance the classroom environment.  Currently, Asbury Preschool uses Bright Beginnings curriculum for our spiritual development and the children attend chapel each morning where they hear Bible stories, sing songs and participate in activities that help them develop a relationship with Christ.

preschoolOur Zoo Phonics Early Literacy curriculum teaches the children their letters and sounds using fun animal characters that engage the children in a variety of activities that makes learning fun and exciting. It takes your child from learning the sounds that each letter makes to putting those sounds together to make words and preparing them to be accomplished readers.

Handwriting Without Tears encourages the children to develop their fine motor skills.  It takes them from learning to use scissors and how to hold a crayon correctly to learning how to correctly form their letters using verbal cues that blend with our Zoo-Phonics program.

We encourage parents to be involved in their child’s experience here at Asbury.  We have an open door policy and invite parents to be a part of the classroom experience.  We provide many opportunities for parents to be involved: Classroom parties, Hibernation day, Preschool Olympics, Literacy Night, Read in the Room, field trips and many other activities throughout the year.   All parents are invited to be a part of our Parents Of Preschoolers group which meets monthly to share ideas, learn new parenting information and plan special events.  We also offer Parent Teacher Conferences twice a year so that parents can know how their children are developing and how to help them in that process.
