Asbury Church is excited to announce that Levi Thomas has joined our ministry team as our new Youth Pastor!
Levi brings a passion for helping students grow in their relationship with Jesus, build authentic community, and discover God's purpose for their lives. We are grateful for God's guidance throughout this process and are thrilled to welcome Levi to the Asbury family.
We invite the entire congregation to join us in welcoming Levi and his family -- wife, Kinsley, and two daughters, Sephira and Margaret. We ask you to pray for the entire family as Levi begins this new chapter.

Can I Get a Witness? How God is Moving at Asbury
Asbury has Angels! Asbury has Angels!!!
Three weeks ago, Asbury angels, aka Travis Hoover, Lawrence & Jacque Perkins rang my daughter’s doorbell & announced “they were here to help clear out her garage!” What you don’t realize is that we had been trying to find help for almost 3 years! We had called every “junk” company in town, who either did not show up , would not give us an estimate or wanted $800 to empty a one car garage. Finally, out of desperation, I called our SS President, Kristie Kennedy & asked her for any ideas. She immediately gave me Travis Hoovers phone #. I am sad to say, I hadn’t had the honor of meeting Travis yet! Within 3 days they showed up, took 4 truckloads of furniture, paint, 5 big tires & other accumulated “stuff” no one wanted any longer. They made trips to Discount tire, paint recycling place, Good Will & helping hands.
Came back another day for mattresses & box springs. Then another angel, Shad Mehl came for an old grill & mower under carriage & took them to recycling. Then a fifth angel, Keith Kirk came after his grandson’s graduation last Saturday & repaired the broken lightbulb fixture in her garage. We feared it could cause fire if anyone flipped the switch.
We cannot thank our Asbury family enough; words cannot convey our feelings of gratefulness you gave to Stacy & Mama & Dad Scarritt who just don’t have the capacity to pull off this huge job anymore. They came & did the job with such ease & joyfulness – as Angels do. If you have not had the joy of taking Roberta Beckman’s Angel class, might not understand my belief that Angels are actively running around Asbury Church doing mighty miracles in people’s lives & (possibly winning over our Catholic daughter).
Thank you to each of you! You changed lives that day!
